A Texas Senior Session

Today's featured senior session comes to you from Lindsay Horn Photography, located in Dallas, TX!" I wanted to shoot a fun end of summer session before school started back up, and my goal was to use some light props but ultimately to let the focus be on the girls and the mood of this time of year. I ended up calling it my "All American Summer" shoot, and we had so much fun! I worked with a local boutique (The Impeccable Pig) to put together some outfits that fit our theme in an understated way and fit our girls modestly so that the focus would be 100% on their personalities shining through. I pulled together some different props and chose a location that would help tie everything together. I could not be more thrilled with the outcome! I used all natural light and reflectors with the help of my assistant Charlee Davis."What inspired this session: "I had always envisioned a patriotic shoot, but with the exception of our flag scarf prop, I wanted to approach it in a more subtle way. So I tried to bring in some Americana style props and a location that gave off a great summer time vibe, but with a modern take on wardrobe, hair and makeup, and accessories. I could not have been happier with the end result!"Hair and Makeup Artist: "Courtney with Chi Ro Makeup and Lash Boutique (http://www.chiroweddings.com) did a fabulous job on makeup for our shoot.
