What to Wear Wednesday...with Terah Lake
It's WTWW! Our 2nd WTWW post to wrap October's 'Must-Have Fall Accessories' theme is finally here! Terah of Terah Lake Photography is going to share all about boots, so be sure to leave a comment below with your thoughts on boots too!"Bring on the BOOOOTSSSSSS!!!!! Nothing screams more fall to me than a pair of cute boots! Often I'll have clients that will request a session later in the year just so they can wear their favorite pair! And you can't blame them for loving this type of footwear. Boots are in my opinion one of the most comfortable type of fashionable shoe you can wear, especially for a photo shoot! Walking around and posing in shoes like high heels for a lot of girls does not come easy. This can make them feel uncomfortable which might end up showing in their pictures. Not only are boots easy for EVERYONE to wear, they're a no brainer when it comes to adding variety to your senior's outfit selections! I always tell my seniors that boots are a great way to add that extra needed layer to polish off an outfit. Also a lot of times when shooting your subject, you tend to lose their shoes when shooting a 3/4 length shot or a close-up. Taller boots can help keep your senior girl looking polished from head to toe, even with tighter cropped shots or locations that have really tall grass! One of my absolute favorite fall trends right now are skinny, cuffed jeans with booties! You can literally wear this look with any type of shirt, sweater, jacket, or vest on top! And if you're still waiting on cooler weather and the temperatures to drop (like me in Arizona), boots and booties are a foolproof way to transition some of your favorite summer outfits into fall. They also pair well with skirts, dresses, and the oh-so popular rompers that have exploded on the fashion scene! Fall boots are one of my all time favorite things I love suggesting to my clients when helping them coordinate their outfits for a shoot!!!"I, too, love boots, Terah! Thanks so much for these tips and the gorgeous imagery!Stay Stylish, friends!Megan
