PUSH for a change was started with nothing more than a desire to unite the photography community to effect real change.

When I created this organization, the goal was to elicit positive change by providing a venue to foster and promote community.  Each year we will embrace certain charities and fundraisers to give back and help not only our community, but the youth that are a part of it.  If you are a photographer who wants to help, but is not sure what you can do…please consider joining in our efforts.  Together all of US can make a difference.

Our annual scholarship benefit was held at the PUSH 2018 conference this past July.  With the help of generous donors from vendors to photographers, we were able to raise enough money to give 9 students one time scholarships worth $2000 each. And can we give a HUGE shout out to our auctioneer, Richard Freije of Freije and Freije Auctioneers? He was the life of the party. Thank you!

Applications were accepted from our PUSH 2018 attendees.  They were asked to nominate one very deserving 2019 High School Senior.  Our board of directors (Brooke Daniels, Thomas Nguyen and Parker Black and myself ) poured over these applications and narrowed it down to 9 lucky recipients.

Each year at the PUSH Conference we will continue to raise money towards our scholarship program to celebrate from within the PUSH  attendee community for that year.  I look forward to this year’s auction and cannot thank everyone who made this a huge success enough.  Alison Faulkner, thank you for tirelessly working to get incredible items for this event.  A huge shoutout to our speakers, vendors and photography community for making this possible.
