An Alabama Senior Session
Today's featured senior session comes to you from Project Nine Five Photography, located in Birmingham, AL!
Nick shared about this session: "Sometimes as a photographer you'll get a chance to tell a heart felt story through your photographs. We had the opportunity to do just that with our Class of 2014 senior model, Sunni Glaze. During her in-person consultation she told us that she'd like to incorporate her late father's military helmet in her senior portraits. We were excited to be able to make her request a reality. Her father, Sergeant Bart Glaze, served in the Iraq war and passed away in April of 2012. A 16x24 canvas of this portrait hangs in the living room of Sunni's grandfather's home. You will notice the military helmet lying in Sunni's lap.
She told us she liked tutu's, light flares in images, and vintage. We are paired up with a local Optometrist (Southern Focus Vision Center) that provides designer sunglasses for our senior model sessions. So we included Juicy Couture sunglasses (white frames) and Oakley's (black frames) in her senior portrait session."

Inspiration: "We had already seen her style from her pins on Pinterest. We fell in love with her style. After seeing her pins, her everyday style, and talking to her at the in-person consultation. We knew how we were going too photograph and edit her session and also include her late father's military helmet."

Nick shared about his business: "We are a husband and wife photography team based in Birmingham, Alabama. We specialize in High School Senior Portraits, but are always pushing ourselves (and each other) to try new things for fun. We pride ourselves on creating an experience unlike any other studio in Alabama provides. We love taking the time to get to know our clients and create a bond that last long beyond the photoshoot.Nick is the mastermind behind Project Nine Five and photography has been a passion of his for over a decade. He is an award winning photographer that has been published and featured on multiple websites that specializes in senior portrait photography. The name Project Nine Five came from Nick’s drive to have ninety-five projects going on at once. He attends workshops, seminars, and reads countless articles to further his knowledge in the world of photography. He enjoys trying new techniques and shooting things you couldn’t find anywhere else. In his free time he challenges himself to stay fit by working out religiously.Emily is aspiring to take over the business side of Project Nine Five while drawing as much knowledge from Nick as possible (he is a great teacher!). Emily assists on all photoshoots and jumps behind the camera for the behind the scenes images and goofy shots you see of Nick! Her desire is to support Nick and helping him in being the most sought after senior portrait photographer in Alabama.We reside in Gardendale, AL and in our spare time we enjoy spending time with our family and friends.
