A Texas Senior Session

Today's featured senior session comes to you from Jamie Harper Photography, located in Waxahachie, TX!"This session was done with my beautiful senior models; Josey, Sydney, and Emily. We shot on location at a swimming pool and creek in Waxahachie, TX."Tell us about the gear used: "I shot with my Nikon D7000, 85mm 1.4, and used a reflector."What inspired this session: "My friend has an amazing pool in her backyard that looks like a resort in Mexico. We were swimming with the kids one day and it hit me that it would be the perfect location for a unique senior shoot. The light, flowers, water...everything was just right. Then, I wanted to expand the session to a nearby creek. Water was the main inspiration for this shoot. I wanted to capture the bright colors and light of the pool and the calmness and serenity of the creek. I knew I wanted fabulous handmade floral headbands for the creek shots. My talented friend, Carrie Carter, and I took a trip to Hobby Lobby and filled our baskets with florals, feathers, and twigs. She created all 3 headbands on my living room floor!
