"Senior portrait sessions done right, can be the biggest confidence booster. Every girl loves to be pampered before their shoots, and at our studio, we start process that weeks in advance with the pre-session consultation. We go through wardrobe, location, hair, how to prep your skin for the makeup artist, and recommendations on what colors look great in front of the camera. What it boils down to though…is the connection. The more you get to know your clients, the more natural their expressions are going to be in front of your camera. Unlike wedding, event, or landscape photography, portrait photography is all about people. With our cameras, we can potentially make a difference in someone's life. I've always believed that, if I can help my seniors gain greater self-worth, help them blossom and see themselves in a better light, then I've done my job. I also believe that for girls especially, to believe that we're beautiful, we need reminders...and beautiful portraits are a great way to remind ourselves that we are deserving of love."
