A Minnesota Senior Session

Please describe the session:

I set up this session with Llaura right before I left town for a mentorship and we discussed that we would photograph at Silver Lake Park in St. Anthony and the theme was spring flowers. Llaura pretty much brought her entire closet but when I saw the cute floral dress she had I knew it would be perfect for the flower theme. We walked around the park and she was such a trooper laying in all of the flowers and wherever I asked her to go she did! She was so sweet and about as cute as could be at only 4 foot 7 inches with her big blue eyes and even bigger personality! We were laughing the entire shoot. Llaura is a 2018 senior, and just the sweetest soul.

Tell us about the gear used:

I used my Nikon D600 and 50mm f/1.4 Lens with my spider holster belt and large reflector.

What inspired this session?

I just moved to Minnesota in November, so my entire experience here has been snow and brown everywhere so I have been anxiously waiting for spring and it is finally here! So I set up this shoot so I could capture the beautiful spring colors and flowers before they are replaced with leaves on the trees
