A Kansas Senior Session

Please describe the session:

In ten years in the senior photography business, this session with Zack was hand's down one of my favorite senior guys' sessions. I offer two options for my senior guys; The All Out and the Get'R Done. Zack chose The All Out Session, which included heading to downtown Kansas City for some super sweet urban shooting in the hippest parts of our city. Kansas City has a vibrant, artsy area called The Crossroads and it was perfect for the outfits and colors that Zack brought for his shoot. The areas with vibrant street art, a mural of our beloved Kansas City Royals and the downtown brick and ivy were perfect backdrops for him. When his mom received his images, her response was "How am I going to get any work done today! I can't stop looking at these!"

What inspired this session?

After a phone consultation with Zack's mom, we determined that an urban location was going to suit his style the best. I knew ahead of time that he would be bringing some things that have defined him in high school; this letter jacket, his sports uniforms and equipment and his Beats headphones. It all came together exactly as I envisioned...well, maybe better than I envisioned.
