A Hawaii Senior Session

Today's featured senior session comes to you from Sunshine Soul Photography, located in Kailua, Hawaii!

Jennifer shared about this session with us: "This beautiful senior came to me a few weeks ago because she is about to graduate and hated the senior photos she had taken at a local studio for the yearbook. She wanted to have a session that represented her in a beautiful and timeless way. She chose a local botanical garden because it is the same place that her mom was married so many years ago."

Gear: "I used my Canon 5D Mark II, my 85mm 1.2L, a reflector and a wonderful assistant!"

Inspiration: "This session was inspired by local Hawaiian traditions and the spirit of Aloha. She wanted to look like a Hawaiian princess and I say she achieved the look!"

She is such a beautiful senior! I love the ones with the flower crown, but they all are so good!! And what lovely location:) Thanks so much for sharing with us!

Jennifer shared a little about herself: "I am a wife, mom, and photographer located in Kailua, Hawaii. I live on the beautiful island of Oahu and have fallen in love with the Hawaiian lifestyle and living with Aloha. I am married to a wonderful military man, so I am blessed with the opportunity to re-establish my business in a new location every couple of years. Like so many, my professional photography journey began with the notion of capturing those everyday moments of my children's lives and trying to freeze time and preserve those precious memories. I have recently found where my passion truly lies with senior portraits. I absolutely LOVE being able to provide a young girl on the cusp of womanhood an unforgettable, confidence building experience and beautiful products."
