A California Senior Session

Today's featured session comes to you from Brownie Photography in beautiful Mission Viejo, CA!

Here's what Melissa shared with us:

"Meet Abbey! She is fun, sweet, and so genuine! I shot this session in an orange grove in Southern California. When people think of SoCal they automatically think of the beach, and while I LOVE shooting there, when I am out shooting for myself I like to head to different locations, exlore new places, and push myself to try new things.

The day was perfect for a sun kissed natural light session, but I pulled out my off camera flash to add variety and a bit of drama. Even with OCF, I still prefer a soft look so I was sure to keep the flash at a lower setting, and I shot through an umbrella to diffuse the light.

I teamed up with Brooke Heyman Salon for hair and make-up to create a simple, fresh look. It went perfectly with the orange trees and mustard flowers! We kept props to a minimum, just a few simple accessories, so that the entire session was focused on Abbey."
