What to Wear Wednesday...with Brandi Scarbrough
It's WTWW! We are continuing this month's Boho theme with a post from Brandi Kristina Photography!"When it comes to senior style, boho is killing it in 2015. Whether it’s a flower crown or a fringe shawl, almost all of my seniors want to incorporate some sort of boho look into their session. And I can totally see why since boho style is all about being free, adventurous, and artistic. Its a truly fitting style for seniors.Brittany is one of my AMAZING 2016 senior models. She’s such a little wanderlust at heart. Her fringe shaw with a white lace cami and worn jeans is a perfect look her. Her style really came through during her session. For Brittany’s session we just piled into her mom’s SUV and drove about an hour out of town. We literally just stopped along the road and shot wherever out hearts desired. She had so many amazing choices. She changed into a white fringe top for this look and added a pair of sunglasses to finish up the look.No boho look is complete without the accessories. It’s such a small but important detail that can really help tie everything together. For boho I really think that you can go simple with no jewelry, or really stack on the accessories by doubling up bracelets and necklaces. I love Maddie’s long necklace and mood ring.Floral maxi dresses are on trend this year. For a gypsy feel add a fringe vest, black wide-brimmed hat, and worn ankle boots.Turn the heat up by adding a fun skirt, heels and some amazing statement necklace. I seriously can’t get enough of this look. I love how everything comes together, giving this outfit just the right amount of edge.I love using these boho headbands during my sessions. Maddie looks totally beautiful and natural before, but adding a headband is a great way to get versatility out of your session. And last but not LEAST! Boho flower crowns! They are one of my most favorite props! How gorgeous do Ali and Brittany look?! They pull off this look so well. I love how the flowers make a statement and speak for themselves. No other major accessory is needed and the simplicity of the white dresses really help the flowers standout." Thanks so much for the style suggestions, Brandi! I am loving all of these images as well:)Stay Stylish!Megan
