Devon J. Imagery...As a senior photographer, one of my favorite parts of the whole process is styling my girls. I love to help them put the perfect outfits together, and make them feel better than they could've imagined they could feel. But for this edition of #WhatToWearWednesday, I let go of the reins and wanted to see how my seniors would style themselves if given the chance. I knew they had great style anyway, but they blew me away! I asked them to wear something that they feel absolutely amazing in for fall; I wanted them to wear their favorite outfit for this season. I loved every single girl's style! Some were casual, some were a little dressier, but each and every one of them hit the nail on the head. Let's break it down (cue the turntables). 
These Booties Were Made For Walkin'Boots and booties are a staple for fall! They're so versatile, stylish, and WARM! I love that so many styles of boots are available this season. Booties have definitely made their mark. Wear them with skinnies or leggings, cuff your jeans up, throw them on with a fun little dress. They go with everything! Riding boots are always a go-to, and embellished details like buckles, studs, stones, and zippers really add a fun element of style to your boots. I'm especially loving combat boots because they take me back to Claire Danes in "My So Called Life" in the 90's! For all you youngins, do yourself a favor and Google that show! It's where Jared Leto got his start, and he was even hotter back then, if you can wrap your head around that. ***END DISTRACTION***
If You Liked It Then You Should'a Put A Scarf On ItWhat's the perfect fall accessory that draws attention to your face and adds fun texture and color to any outfit?? That's right...SCARVES!! They go with everything from a button-up to a sweater to a dress. Plus your neck will never be cold! Win. Add a scarf, instant style. Boom shakalaka.
And We Danced All Night To The Vest Song EverVests are definitely a thing, y'all. I myself have been trying to find the perfect fur vest for the past year (they're all too long for me...#shortgirlproblems), and these girls are rocking them out! A fur vest definitely looks and feels fantastic, but all different kinds of vests are trending right now. I've been seeing leather moto vests with tons of zippers, fun cargo vests with pockets and rivets, tons of shearling, and even just fun accessory vests like the one Ashtyn is wearing. It's sheer with fringe trim on the bottom, and it just screams FUN! What a great way to jazz up a simple outfit! 
Because you know I'm all about that hat, 'bout that hat...Put a lid on it!! No really...wear a hat. I'm loving the 70's vibe of Emilea's felt floppy hat, and the color looks gorgeous with anything! Alli's little knit beanie adds an immediate cute factor to her look, and looks great with her easy outfit and pretty hair.
I'm So Fancy...Can't Ya Taste This Gold?Jewels!!! My favorite part. My girls are OBSESSED with James Avery rings and necklaces and Kendra Scott earrings! They also love layering up bracelets to add in a pop of color and shine. And check those manicures!! Statement nails are making waves here in Texas. Bright colors, fun patterns, and an accent nail are popular mani trends that everybody is going crazy for.
I'm a self-proclaimed summer girl, but I have to admit, I am SO READY to break out the fall stuff! Anybody can find a way to translate these trends into their own closets. I personally really love the aztec motif cozy sweaters and cardigans, fun print pants, and wedges (because I've sworn off heels), and my seniors love them too! Add any of these fall staples into your wardrobe, and you'll be photo shoot fresh every single day.
