Senior Style Guide + Brooke Daniels Photography have ventured to the tropical oasis of Isle of Palms, the fashion-forward city of lights in NYC twice, the majestic country of Iceland and enjoyed the Big Sky Country of West Yellowstone Montana. Each year, criss-crossing the globe to make sure every location is as exciting and unique as the last. We received lots of feedback from both High School Senior Photographers and Wedding Photographers about what Destination YOU want next. The trend in senior portraits and engagement/bridal portraits is leading toward an natural, earthy, organic feel that is surrounded by the beauty of nature and our next destination gives you just that. Plus, an exotic tropical local that will leave you counting the days to dip your toes in the sand surrounded by a turquoise oasis.
Our destination announcements are always an exciting time for Brooke and me. We have combined our love of travel, adventure and teaching because we have met some lifelong friends over the years. We spend countless hours pouring over locations and carefully deciding what will be the next big adventure. These events fuel our creative hearts and souls in ways you cannot imagine.It is no secret that this destination has been difficult to choose. We actually had it narrowed down to three! But since we could only be in one place at a time, we stepped back and made a list of things from past destinations that we loved. One of the most important factors was for everyone to be together at a base camp. We had this luxury at our last destination in Montana and it was amazing. It was one big family reunion and we were all together having the creative time of our lives. Brooke and I loved the idea of finding an intimate all-inclusive resort to encourage more photographers to bring their families for a vacay or a romantic getaway with their significant other. Affordability, diversity of the locations, consistently glorious weather and travel accessibility were also high on the list. Those are a lot of things to ask for but our next destination has provided all of them!So here we go again! Brooke and I are ready to jet off to our 6th SSG + BDP Destination together! So dust off your passport, pack your favorite sunhat and read on!
Early summer 2019 we will be traveling to the picturesque island of ARUBA! Yes you read that right…ARUBA! One Happy Island! This is a personal favorite of mine. I can't wait to see how Brooke styles this island event. If you have sat on the sidelines wishing you could go to one or all of our last five SOLD OUT destination events, now is the time.

Our recommended beach-front lodging is the Divi ALL INCLUSIVE Resort. They are our partner hotel for this adventure! This pristine resort is nestled on a beautiful private stretch of beach. One of my favorite things about this resort is you never feel like it is crowded! The resort has 10 included dining options, unlimited beverages, 4 freshwater pools, bikes, water sports, rock climbing wall, tennis, complementary wifi, and so much more! No need to rent a car, as it's a quick taxi ride from the airport. Flights to Aruba are some of the most affordable of all of the Caribbean!
20% of the island is national park featuring some of the most incredible coastlines and natural pools.
There are more sunny days and the least amount of rainfall in Aruba than the other islands in the Caribbean! I have literally been several different times of year and it is incredible. The average temperature is a glorious 84 degrees.
Aruba is the most awarded destination in the entire caribbean and is known throughout the world to have some of the most gorgeous beaches and landscapes.
The official languages you will hear spoken in Aruba are: Papiamento & Dutch with English being widely spoken on the island.
