Planning a Conceptual Session

Today's featured senior session comes to you from Ashley Leah Photography, located in Jacksonville, Florida.

Here is what she had to say about planning conceptual sessions:

"Here's a little behind-the-scenes look at some Concept Sessions I put together with a few of my Models for the Class of 2014  :)I knew these girls pretty well, so I went with themes that I felt matched their personalities, but you could easily collaborate with your client on this! I started in Polyvore, and put together an outfit, along with props that went with each of their themes. Once the concept boards were made, I had them "approved" by my models, and asked them to get their outfits picked out. I gathered the props (a vintage bicycle, flowers, hats, angel wings, an indian head dress and smoke bombs!), and looked for the perfect locations to finish the vision! We shot each of their sessions on different days, and we had a blast! The concepts complimented each of them perfectly, and I couldn't be happier with the results! These girls are beautiful, inside and out, and I'm so honored to have them work with me for their Senior Portraits!"
