Featured Senior Session | Shining Moments Photography
On the blog today is a featured senior session from Andrea Doering of Shining Moments Photography, located in Sycamore, IL. Here is what Andrea had to say about her session!
Please describe the session: “Emma's senior session was curated around her love of the outdoors + nature in late Summer. Emma loves Summer days and spending it outside! And you can see that by her glowing sun-kissed tan. Adding in a flowing, short white dress gave a pop to her images around the dark wooded areas and flowers that she requested. We walked a little, danced a little, and played in the flowers a lot! For this busy lady it was an afternoon to stop and smell the flowers.”
Tell us about the gear used:T ”I'm a Canon girl. I shoot with my Canon 5D Mark iii + Mark IV. This session I used my Canon 24-70L + Canon 70-200L.”
What inspired this session? ”This session was inspired by the changing of colors in the late Illinois Summer. Colors were a must for Emma, along with flower accents. I planned a location where we had plenty of space for her to move, walk in the tall grasses + relax to capture the last piece of her high school story. And in Northern Illinois obstacles, I needed a location where we would not be attacked by the overly abundant mosquitos”.
Hair and Makeup Artist: “Emma choose to do her own hair + makeup, following the tips I provided in my Camera Ready Makeup Guide. She kept to her light and natural vibe all the way through.”
