Hey everyone! We are back with featuring senior sessions!! Today, we are featuring a senior session on the blog from Kristen Hazelton Photography, located in Oak Park, IL. Here is what Kristen had to say about her session!
Please describe the session: Mackenzie's fall outdoor session at a historical Queen Anne Victorian estate in California was a dream! I love how her stylish dress from Windsor meshed with her surroundings - complementing the hint of fall colors that arrive in the San Francisco Bay Area, while the dainty lace patterning was right at home with the Victorian front porch and gingerbread architecture.
Tell us about the gear used: For this session, I used my Nikon Z5 as my primary camera body and my Nikon D750 as a backup. I primarily used my 85 mm f/1.4 and 70-200 mm f/2.8 lenses with my 35 mm f/1.4 for some tight shots on that gorgeous front porch! Mackenzie's mother came along for her session and provided assistance with holding a reflector.
What inspired this session? Mackenzie wanted a session that really reflected her hometown of Livermore, CA, and the Ravenswood Historic Site was able to check many of the boxes on her list: beautiful and stylish location, lots of greenery, and gorgeous architecture!
