Please describe the session: “Class of 2021 has been my boldest and most realist class of seniors I have ever had. With Covid and schools being shut down in Oklahoma I wanted to create and shoot a session with bold colors, bolder fashions and the boldest makeup I have ever shoot. So I collaborated with Tulsa's most editorial makeup artist Lindsay West for my winter concept shoot HP 70s shoot. I decided that the shoots color palate should feature two set of color combos to showcase both a modern feminine twist of pinks, purples, and blues and yellow, browns, oranges and golds that the 70's traditionally are know for.

We took advantage of both studio and natural lighting for this shoot because I wanted to showcase both my talent to capture both but also the different vibes that lighting can cause. Location did not matter to me as much, simply because I wanted the attention of the viewer to be on my clients at all time I wanted to showcase their makeup, wardrobe, attitude of the senior. Each senior has a distinct personality and beautiful features.”

Tell us about the gear used: Canon Mark 5dII, Canon Mark 5d, Sigma 50 MM Art, & Sigma 35 MM Art.

What inspired this session? “The inspiration for this 70s shoot is my love of bold color and the 70's era bolder makeup looks.”
