Eye on Fashion|The Crop Top

Spring is in the air and the new Spring trends are popping up everywhere! I love seeing how past fashion trends are reinvented. This year it includes overalls, fit and flare skirts, off the shoulder tops(LOVE) and the crop top. Sometimes when photographing senior portraits we have to be careful on how we portray our clients. They are still teens and baring a little to much skin can get a bit contreversal. However, I think the new crop top trend can be done tastefully and is super cute when done right. Whether combined with high wasted shorts, a maxi skirt or a pair of capris a crop top adds a little extra character to a senior outfit. I am loving it, so add it to your what to wear list!

TIP: Just because a top is a crop top doesn't mean it has to bare a midriff. With any style it may not work for everyone.  - KRISTIE
