Eye on Fashion: A Teen's Perspective \\ Lace

 Hi all!Today I’m going to talk about a fashion trend that, though it’s been around for quite a while, is constantly getting reanimated in the fashion world: lace! This girly openwork fabric has become very “in” as of late, and can be worn on almost any occasion(especially during a senior portrait session :)). Here are three different looks to get you started on wearing lace: Pair a white lace dress with pale pink accessories, pearls, and brown shoes/sandals. This “pretty in pink” look will create the classic, girly feel that lace is famous for. Don’t forget light blush and a nude lip gloss!               For a more bold look, start with a brightly-colored short lace dress. Balance the soft, feminine lace with an edgier piece by adding a black leather jacket. For jewelry, go with silver and/or a bright color(I chose light blue/aquamarine) that will complement the color of the lace dress.               Lastly, lace has become very popular with regards to the “boho” style. Many popular stores such as Free People and Anthropologie carry a wide variety of lace tunics and blouses.  Pick a white lace tunic or blouse, add jean shorts, a leather headband(you know the type- the ones that go over your forehead), and layer a bunch of trendy jewelry to complete the look.
