Eye on Fashion: A Teen's Perspective // Blazers
Ever loved an outfit you had on, but needed to dress it up a bit? Or have you ever wondered if there was an easy way to turn a casual outfit into a stylish and sophisticated one without having to re-think your entire ensemble? Well the answer to all your problems lies in the wonderful, versatile, clothing staple known as blazers! There are about three basic types of blazers:
- The Suit Blazer
These are pretty much exclusively made for workplace environments, and often come with matching bottom pieces. They usually come in neutral colors and are on the longer side. Not an ideal piece for hanging out with friends, but if you need to look professional at an interview or such, the suit blazer might be your best option.2. The Casual BlazerThese are my favorite! The casual blazers are slouchy, come in all sorts of different colors, and are often worn with the sleeves rolled up. Throw one on over a floral print dress or a graphic tee and jeans, and you’re all set with a stylish yet sophisticated outfit!
3. The Cropped BlazerCropped blazers are shorter and more girly than the other blazers. They often come with embellishments of some sort, and are great to throw over a fun dress or patterned skirt.
