Evan...Kansas Senior Session

Today's submission is from Stacey of Stacey Dershem Photography located in Wichita, KS!Here is what Stacey had to say about the session:  "Evan is a Senior at Wichita Maize South High School.  When we met to plan his session, he had one request - I want to feature my (new to me) Mustang!  I'd never done a senior session with a car before, so I couldn't wait!  I chose our grungy but lovely Old Town Wichita area for the session, as I knew the urban textures and colors would be a perfect backdrop to highlight Evan and his car.  When Evan and his Mom met me for the session, it was 106 degrees outside.  No kidding - welcome to Kansas in the summer!  Evan's Mom had outdone herself on wardrobe; Evan had 7 different outfits for us to use.  (Evan's Mom Susan said she'd never ironed so much in her LIFE!)  I used some of Old Town's fun art and architecture like the "William Shakespeare" graffiti wall, the old Wichita train station with it's famous "Wichita" endpost, and my personal favorite, a regular old downtown parking garage that has amazing lines.  When we were running around  transitioning to a new location, Evan's car-loving eye caught a Corvette in a parking lot and mentioned that it would be cool to have his photo taken with a car like that, so we did!  I edited the owner's tag out and replaced it with Evan 2013 to personalize the shot. Evan was an awesome subject, even in the face-melting Kansas heat, and we all loved how the images turned out!"WhereWichita's Old Town areaDress MeEvan has 7 cool outfits for his photoshoot (a session record for me to shoot in 2 hours!).  Most of the clothes were from Rue 21I love this Stacey!XOXO,VickieSenior Style GuideSenior Style GuideSenior Style GuideSenior Style GuideSenior Style GuideSenior Style GuideSenior Style GuideSenior Style GuideSenior Style GuideSenior Style Guide
