An Oregon Senior Session

Today's featured senior session comes to you from Climbing Vine Photography, located in Portland, OR.

Jeanie shared a little about this session: "Wow-zahs! That is all I can say! Kristi is my senior model and could not have been more of a dream to photograph! We talked before the photo shoot and agreed on particular styles for each look. She looked AH-MAZING when I arrived in the morning! For the first look I wanted a location that would a create vibrant, fun and colorful feel. We came across this bright blue garage door against red walls on the side of a local cafe (Portland's cafes never disappoint), and it was exactly what I had hoped for. After shooting there, I knew exactly where I wanted to take her next. There is a building that I have passed dozens of times and ALWAYS thing how perfect it would be to photograph a senior session by. A light pink building with gorgeous ivy dripping down the sides. And boy was I right! Then we ended at a favorite local part to get the more boho feel. Kristi is so fun and gorgeous! I have such a blast joking and spending time with her!"

Gear: "For this session I used my Canon 6D with a Canon 70-200mm 2.8L Lens."

Hair & MUA: "After a consultation regarding make-up style and tips, Kristi did all of her own makeup and hair."

What a lovely session! I LOVE the red and blue! And that second shot is stunning...such a fabulous smile! And that ivy was definitely perfect for her look! Way to rock this session! Thanks so much for sharing with us:)

Jeanie shared a little about herself: "My name is Jeanie Whitten-Andrews, I am a native Portlandian, food junkie, and a mother of two crazy little boys. I started Climbing Vine Photography in 2013 (after working as a photographer in several other capacities for about 6 years & with the unwavering support of my husband and partner, Jordan) in the hopes of finally being able to enjoy the full creative freedom and intentional client relationships that comes with owning one's own photography business."
