"Laken, a blond-haired blue-eyed beauty, is the epitome of the small-town All-American girl longing for the excitement and glamour of the big city. I really wanted to play this idea up and she was completely game. What we ended up with were photos that really reflected not only her style but her life - where she's been and where she's going."

"I used a Nikon d800 and my go-to lens was the 70-200 2.8 although the 50mm 1.8 and the 17-55mm 2.8 were used on occasion along with a reflector."
