An Ohio Senior Session

Where this shoot took place: Toledo Botanical Gardens, Toledo Ohio. Downtown Historic Maumee, Maumee Ohio. Maumee Indoor Theater, Maumee Ohio.

Some of the outfits: Halie wore an old antique dress from the 50s that her grandmother bought her, never before worn. Hand-sewn and everything! She also rocked her favorite pair of shoes, her Vans. Most of her other clothing pieces were from Forever 21. Halie did her own hair and makeup.

About the Session: Halie is one of my gorgeous Senior Ambassadors for 2013. As you can see, her style is incredible and very unique(She's previously had bright red hair during another shoot). We first went to the Botanical Gardens, and got some great nature themed shots, along with some brickwork, and also a pond. There's a ton of great places there, some really old, huge trees that make canopies when you stand under them, bamboo, an overgrown brick wall, tons of art and metalwork structures, things like that. Then we went to downtown historic Maumee, to get really great urban/grunge shots. We found a great area that has a little fountain, some great stairs, and these amazing bright yellow doors. We loved it! Lots of falling down brickwork, grunge, that sort of thing. Then we went right into the sidewalk on the main road and got some great downtown street shots. And to end the shoot off, we went to a really old vintage movie theater and got some shots there, in a dress from the 50s that Halie's grandmother got her (never before worn!). It looked amazing on her! it was an amazing shoot, tons of energy and great style. lots of laughs!
