An Indiana Senior Session

Today's featured senior session comes to you from Adrienne Pfaffenberger Photography, located in Avon, Indiana!

"This was a Fall senior session for Aidan, a class of 2015 senior. We shot at a local park and a nearby small town on main street for some of the building locations. She brought in her wardrobe, I had on site hair and make up for her, and I helped with the jewelry and accessories. This session was also special because Aidan allowed me to use this session to be filmed for some behind the scenes video which will be used on my website to help promote my senior portrait experience."

Gear: "I use my Canon 5Dmkii. I usually shoot with my 100mm macro for a lot of the portrait images. On this session, I had an assistant with a reflector when needed."

Inspiration: "This session was inspired by the time of year. Aidan had some great wardrobe choices and she wanted to shoot outdoors in the Fall. We were able to find great locations with a variety of colors that made her pop and allow her to be the focus of her images."

Hair & MUA: "My go-to hair and makeup artist is Emily Froelich who is an independent stylist with Salon Nouveaute in Plainfield, IN. We have worked together on many shoots and she does a great job. My clients really respond well to her and love that I offer hair and make up at the studio before their session."

"My business is really a labor of love and has gradually evolved over the years. I never thought I would be at this place when I picked up a camera about 5 years ago. I run a small boutique style studio in Avon, IN where I focus on senior portraits and family pictures. I really want to get to know my clients and give them a unique, personalized and customized experience where they feel like they get to celebrate the accomplishments of their final year of high school. I hope that my work allows their personality to shine through."
