An Illinois Senior Session

Today's featured senior session comes to you from Andrea Godfrey Photography, located in Wyoming, IL!"This particular session was one of my absolute favorites of 2015. Tasji has a killer wardrobe and style to match so I was beyond ecstatic when she asked me to be her senior photographer. I'm good friends with her older sister and had a mini heart attack when I realized that once-so-little Tasji was now going into her senior year! We decided early on that her session would incorporate a good mix of high fashion and glamour. (When she pulled out that fur scarf I literally almost died!) We walked the streets of downtown Peoria squeezing several amazing urban locations in before the sun went down."Gear: "My 5D Mark III was paired with the love of my life, the Canon 85mm f/1.2, for the entire session."Inspiration: "I've known Tasji for several years so I already had a pretty good idea of the gold mine wardrobe sitting in her closet. She wasn't entirely sure what she wanted and put her trust in me to shoot her plenty of Pinspiration so when I sent over high fashion mixed with glamour, that was immediately the winner. I've never had more success with well-dressed seniors than with Pinterest and those glorious Pin Boards! We really wanted something that would stand out in her yearbook and I think that was accomplished!"Hair & MUA: "There was no hair and makeup artist on this shoot. Just a little crafty up-do by yours truly at the very end of the session!" SO gorgeous! I love the fur as well:) And I love that wind-blown shot!
