Alexandra...Washington, DC Senior Session
Today's submission is from Cory of Cory Brodzinski Photography located in Washington, DC!
For this session they did a lot of moving around. Cory explained that "the location is a private conservatory in Georgetown named Dumbarton Oaks- and they don't allow professional portrait photography! After Alexandra, her mom, and I paid our admission fee we wandered the gardens and acted like any other group of tourists... until we saw a scene we liked then we shot photos as quick as we could while no security guards were watching- then back to wandering like tourists! Alexandra had a blast and she and her mom both loved the "danger" of the thrill of getting caught- it really made the session a lot of fun for all of us."
Cory went on to say..."However, to be sneaky, I had to leave the flashes and soft boxes in the car my usual style is at least one or two off-camera flash to create more dramatic light. So, after we had our fill of danger, we wandered around the residential neighborhood and a nearby park until we had a few more locations we liked. There, I put mom to work as my lovely assistant holding the soft box while I photographed Alexandra some more. They both loved it!"
Alexandra is a rising 2013 senior and is currently running for president of the Student Government Association at Wootton High School in Rockville, MD. She's one of my Class of 2013 Senior Models, as well.
Hair and make-up were by Alex's sister.
Way to rock it and live on the wild side Cory!
XOXO,
Vickie
