A Wisconsin Senior Session

Today's featured senior session comes to you from Emily Jane Photography, located in Waupun, Wisconsin!

Here is what Emily had to say about this session with Eva (who did her own hair and makeup!):

"Eva wanted something different for her session - more model inspired and less camera aware images (although we of course did some of those too!) and I just had such a blast and loved the outcome. She did a great job with her flow posing, and with a little direction, she nailed it!"

What a lovely session!!

Emily used a Nikon d800 and multiple prime lenses, mainly the 50mm 1.4G and 85mm 1.4 for this session. When asked about her business, she said: "We've been photographing seniors for about 7 years now, and they've quickly become one of our favorites. Our 'slogan' for our seniors is 'be yoUnique' - and that's exactly what we love about seniors - everyone brings something different to the table, so even if we may use some of the same locations from time to time, everyone's photos are completely unique and different. We love to think outside the box and try something new and unexpected, while still keeping the 'rules' of photography (mostly) intact. ;) I believe one of our strengths is keeping lighting, poses, and expressions relaxed and natural, while still keeping things fashionable, flattering, and interesting. We don't do cheesy. ;) "
