A Washington Senior Session | Group Model Shoot
Today's featured senior session is a group model shoot by Creatively Yours Photography, located in Spokane, WA!"This session was a styled shoot for a few of my Class of 2016 and new Class of 2017 senior models. I love all things Christmas and my girls, so this was a fun combo to work on. We went to a small local Christmas Tree Farm for the shoot. It was very different from most my typical shoots since it involved a lot more action styled shots. We decorated the tree together, put out the gifts I had wrapped, and then explored the Christmas Tree Farm. This was the first shoot for my Class of 2017 girls. It turned into a great opportunity for them to work with the 2016 girls that have done multiple shoots and could help show them the ropes."Gear: Canon 5D Mark IIICanon 50 1.2LCanon 70-200 2.8LInspiration: "I was inspired by a single photo I saw on pinterest of a Christmas Tree decorated with popcorn strings and simple ornaments. It had gifts laying at the base of the tree. I told the girls I wanted them to think of a Gap or American Eagle styled editorial spread in a magazine. Our color palette was creams, black, and reds. I purchased or made all of the ornaments we hung on the tree using the same idea I had told the girls. How fun!! This shoot definitely has American Eagle vibes, I just love their relaxed wardrobe. I can image that this one was a lot of fun...instead of you creating the set all in advance, they created it together for the shoot!
