A Texas Senior Session

Today's featured senior session comes to you from Cindy Arthur Photography, located Plano, Texas!

Cindy shared a little about her session: "It has been so exciting to me to be able to photograph the kids of my former high school classmates! This session with Ashley came about after running into a former classmate and he found out I was a photographer. He told me he had a daughter graduating soon and she would need senior portraits done. I gave him a link to my work and when it was time I was able to set up this session!"

Inspiration: "I was inspired by the location. We actually had another location picked out but I happen to drive by this nature preserve that day, and asked if they would mind changing the location. I loved the colors, flowers and open fields and I just knew it would look amazing as the sun was setting. Texas winds are crazy this time of year, but we managed to make it through the session with minimal wind blown hair!"

Gear: "My camera is a Nikon D300s, and I used one lens, my 50mm f1.4G. I also used a reflector since I love using back light for my images. As the sun was setting, I also used OCF bounced off the reflector."

Cindy shared a little about herself: "I am a mother of 6 year old twins who followed my passion of photography after they were born. I am located in Plano, Texas and I shoot families, children and high school seniors. Seniors are my favorite genre to photograph!"
