A Rhode Island Senior Session

Today's featured senior session comes to you from Nicole Lopez Photography, located in Blackstone, Massachusetts.

Here is what she had to say about this lovely Rhode Island session:

"This senior is Arielle, 17, Class of 2014 at WHS in Woonsocket, RI. Arielle is a beautiful girl both inside and out. She loves to dance and hang out with her friends. At school she participates in dance, musical theatre, is a class officer and is involved with student council. She describes herself as funny, corny, and energetic.

For her session, I wanted to incorporate her love of dance but with a slightly edgy feel. We started her session at Lincoln Woods Park in Lincoln, RI where we were able to get some gorgeous images with the beautiful park and lake for a backdrop. We then returned to her hometown of Woonsocket to get the edgy shots that we both desired. We went to River Falls which is a popular restaurant/bar in the city. This area is known for gorgeous old mills and I wanted to utilize those to give us the feel we were looking for. I loved the contrast of her tutu with the edginess of the old mill. What I love about this session is the different looks and how it captures that different aspects of who she is, the soft sweetness of the red dress, and the fun and playful side in the shots with her jeans, and the edgy/dramatic side in the dancer photos.

Arielle's hair and makeup was provided by Sanctuary Salon and Day Spa in Franklin, MA. My seniors are treated to an hour and a half of pampering prior to their session, which they all LOVE."
