A North Dakota Senior Session

Today's featured senior session comes to you from Eden Photography, located in Fargo, North Dakota.

"Jackie's session is a mix of textures, lighting & and an earthy natural feel. We chose a beautiful location near downtown in an old industrial park. The character in this location is stunning and we had so many options to go with every look we wanted. Overall, I think Jackie is a natural beauty and that shone through."

Inspiration: "Honestly, Jackie's hair inspired so many of these shots. Jackie has a beautiful natural style already and with her hair, that boho look was so easy. I aim for blowing hair in probably every senior shoot I do!"

Gear: "I shot with my Canon 5D Mk2 and 35 1.4 & 50 1.2. We also used a reflector & diffuser as our lighting was constantly changing. For PP, I used Lightroom for minor edits and then Photoshop for a filmier look."

Hair & MUA: "Jackie came with her own hair & makeup already done which added perfectly to her simple yet beautiful style."

"I'm a 26 year old wife and new mommy born and raised in Fargo, ND. I started my business as a senior in high school myself - which is probably why I have a special love for my senior shoots. Living in North Dakota has proven interesting for senior season, as our winter season is typically longer than other parts of the US. Because of that, I've done quite a few shoots in the snow and they're absolutely beautiful!  I absolutely love my seniors and I've become friends with many of them. This is the world's best job :)"
