A North Carolina Senior Session

Today's featured senior session comes to you from Treebird Photography, located in Wilmington, NC!"MacKenzie is a rising senior from Iowa. I am so happy she decided to have her senior photos taken with me while on vacation to Wilmington, North Carolina. She knew she wanted a different look than the typical senior photos taken in Iowa, so what could be better than the beach? We started her session at the beautiful Wilmington Arboretum and then headed to Wrightsville Beach. She was such a great model, and I loved all her outfit choices. I am so happy with how her photos turned out, and I am excited to share them with all of you."Tell us about the gear used: "I used my Sony a99 with my Sony Carl Zeiss 50 1.4, Sigma 85 1.4, and Sigma 35 1.4 lenses. I love prime lenses as I like to shoot between 1.4 and 2.2. I also used my silver reflector to bounce gorgeous light back at her face."What inspired this session: "My Senior! She knew she wanted a foliage and beach location, which drew us to the Wilmington Arboretum and Wrightsville Beach. She also has a great sense of style, which definitely adds to the overall look of her photos."Hair and Makeup Artist: Makeup was expertly applied by Amy Kennison. I am in love with these locations!
