A Montana Senior Session

Today's featured senior session comes to you from Violet Ray Photography, located in Missoula, MT!

Trina shared about her session with us about this session: "Lexi came all the way to Missoula from Columbia Falls, MT for her senior session with me. She had done her research and knew that she wanted a modelesque styled senior session. She had brought with her, a very well rounded wardrobe, and after I saw what she brought it was very easy to know where we wanted to go to give her a wide variety of images while being able to maximize our shooting time with very little traveling.

We started shooting around 5, which put the end of her session directly at the golden hours so we were able to achieve the "prairie maiden" look that she was wanting with her long blonde hair and boho head-band. Coupled with a little piece of prairie flower, it was breath-taking!"

Gear: Canon 5D Mark III and 85mm 1.2 L lens for this session with a silver reflector held by an assistant.

Inspiration: "Lexi's wardrobe and desire for a more high fashion with dramatic flare inspired this session. There is a particular location along the Clark Fork River in Missoula that offers a wide variety of backdrops in a very small area. I knew that location would be choice for us to go to so that we had a perfect amount of everything for this striking young lady."

Hair and Makeup: Hair was done by Megan at Shear Art Salon in Missoula, and make-up was done by Jen at Skin Chic in Missoula.
