A Missouri Senior Session

Today's featured senior session comes to you from Kassi Hillhouse Photography, located in Falcon, Missouri.

Here is what Kassi had to say about this session with Jake:

"Jake is a laid back, take it as it comes kind of guy. When it came to clothing changes he wanted to keep it simple, comfortable and relaxed. (EXCEPT for his military dress!) For the location, we shot at a farm on the graze pasture free of newer buildings and structures. The location, like his clothing choices and personality, was relaxed and set in the country."

Inspiration: "I wanted the photo to stand for the good we still have in our country. They say your brain "thinks" 5X faster than a person can talk. I had a ton of thoughts go through my head! I thought, WOW...here is this kid at 17 years of age in military dress and looking so serious! He is not only proud of the country he serves, he is hopeful. The generation he is apart deserves A LOT more credit!"

For this session, Kassi used her Canon Mark III 1DX, Canon 50 mm EF 1.2, and Canon 70-200 mm EF 2.8.

When asked about herself and her business, Kassi said: " I opened up shop in October of 2012 so I just recently celebrated my One Year Anniversary! With a childlike faith, I started a new path; one that I ask God to take the lead and I will simply trust Him. I feel like this is the beginning of something great, I have faith that it is something great."
