A Minnesota Senior Session

Today's featured senior session comes to you from Melissa Soto Photography, located in Twin Cities, MN!Describe this session:"This session was located on the banks of the St. Croix river in Minnesota. I recommended this location for a senior session and when she heard that this park had a beach AND a field, she immediately said, "YES!" We decided on a golden hour start time to get the best light and it turned out to be a beautiful day! We started out in the sand, water, and rocks and then headed up the hill to a gorgeous open field. The sun was radiant and it really showcased her in the most stunning way. This senior is an aspiring model and she was so comfortable and confident in front of the camera."What inspired this session?"This senior was able to raid her own closet to find clothing that was not only unique, but really presented her in an organic form. She didn't want to buy anything new that did not express who she is at this time of her life. I was so inspired by that statement! I wanted to capture her sweet and kind personality. I did bring some flower crowns and she picked one full of color and it looked radiant on her."What gear did you use?"I shot this session with a Nikon D610 and Sigma art 50mm lens."Hair & MUA?"She did her own hair and makeup. It was very natural and she did a fabulous job." I love the variety to this session! The light, the water, the blooms....all such a natural feel!
