A Minnesota Senior Session

Today's featured senior session comes to you from Linabell Photography, located in Elk River, MN!"This session was awesome, from beginning to end! Jaide and her mom booked my longest session, downtown Minneapolis, and had very specific ideas for how to end the session. There is a 'yellow room' in the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, and Jaide is very involved in theater, so she wanted to end her session in that room at sunset. It was an incredible choice, and the room and glow it gives is so cool! We started in the Art District downtown Minneapolis, and moved our way through the St. Anthony Main area and onto the theater for sunset. Jaide is quite the beauty, inside and out, and we had so much fun capturing her personality and style!"Tell us about the gear used: Nikon D700, Nikon 24-70 2.8, Nikon 85mm 1.4, and Nikon 50mm 1.4, along with a reflectorWhat inspired this session: "Jaide wanted an edgy theater vibe downtown. We live in a more rural area, and my studio is located in Elk River, MN as well (a lot of trees, fields, farms), so she wanted something different than around our local area."Hair and Makeup Artist: "Hair and makeup was done at Gigi's Salonspa in Ramsey, MN.Most of my seniors have their hair and makeup done here, where they offer Linabell Photography a special rate for my seniors. We brought several lip colors to change up her look, without having to use a lot of accessories, which she isn't a huge fan of." WOW! What a unique session...I love the window shots, and that yellow room is so different! I usually cringe at yellow in photos, but you shot it so well!
