A Michigan Senior Session | Hot 100 Winner

Today's featured senior session comes to you from Tara Mesyn Photography, one of our 2015 Hot 100 winners, located in East Lansing, MI!"Katherine is an amazing girl with a solid head on her shoulders; she is already a nurse's assistant taking classes all while finishing her high school degree and wants to become an RN. After reading her survey, I wanted to go somewhere I've never shot before, so I contacted a nursery and greenhouse, Piechniks in Rochester, MI, and they graciously allowed us the run of the place. Katherine made the session so easy, she was comfortable in front of the camera and what's best, she was up for whatever, trusting in me, which as a photographer, makes my job much easier. We had a blast and came away with amazing images."Gear: "I used a Nikon D750 and 85mm 1.4 and 24-70mm."Inspiration: "My inspiration is always the client, what do THEY want? How can I make THEM happy? Most of my kids are up for whatever, they want something a little different so I always try to provide that for them.""Hair and makeup by the beautiful and talented Lindsey Losiewicz."
