Today's featured senior session comes to you from Amy Dunkel of Love Point Photography of Kent Island, Maryland!

Here is what Amy had to say!

Tell us about your session:

"This session took place at Sunset at a local beach in Kent Island called Ferry Point Park. We started our session barefoot on the beach and played around as the sun starting to get lower in the sky. The beach provided long swaying grasses to shoot through, and there was a slight breeze that helped with the temperature and the feel of our session. I had Claire twirl on the beach, as I really wanted to capture her movement. We then shot on the forest side of the park, with dark muted greens showing in the distance. Claire changed halfway through from her pastel dress into jeans and a tank to finish up her session. Both of her looks complemented on another. As we went along we talked all about life, and what college might be like, and how fast this year will go!"

Tell us about the gear used:

"Canon 50 mm 1.4 lens, Canon 5D Mark IV. All day everyday."

What inspired this session?

"This session took place at Sunset, at a local beach in Kent Island called Ferry Point Park. This park has a forest setting with mature tree's as well as a beautiful sandy beach. I knew the juxtaposition of these two landscapes would be the perfect surround for Claire's session. This Senior is beautiful, funny and energetic, much like the beach. But also has a serious side, and isn't afraid to dive into music, art and self exploration which speaks more to the forest element. The location and Claire's personality were influences during the session. I knew some pictures had to capture her serious side, and some pictures had to be light and fun. I also knew that she was going to wear a pastel dress, and brought a few long stem pink roses in that color scheme to play around with as well."
