A Kentucky Senior Session

Today's featured senior session comes to you from Geni Bean of Pink Owl Photography in Louisville, KY.

Geni had so many wonderful things to share with us:

"Meet Megan! Megan is a Senior at Mercy Academy in Louisville, KY. Megan is also a model. When she and I talked about her session she was very clear that she wanted didn't want her senior pictures to look like her modeling portfolio, but of she didn't want " your every day senior pictures" either; she still wanted that edge. We decided to shoot at two different locations to help pull out a chic and modern feel for her images. We choose a downtown urban location with tons of variety, soft light and fabulous ally ways, then we ended the session with a softer feel by the water on the Ohio River. While Megan was getting her Hair & Make Up done, I helped her narrow down her selection to three outfits. A chic blouse & jean, casual look with her "chucks" and a dress. It's always important to help your senior choose outfits that show the depth of their personality. Hair & Make Up is included with all of my session and I have a fabulous make-up artist who uses her airbrush foundation to work wonders on my seniors. With Megan we wanted to enhance her beauty, but keep her looking like herself at the same time. We choose a softer look for her face since most of the locations we shot where more edgy and of course, no make up session is complete with out falsies! They do wonders for the eyes! It was a perfect afternoon of shooting and laughing!"
