A Kentucky Senior Session
Today's featured senior session comes to you from J. Lynn Photography, located in Cynthiana, KY!
Jessy shared about this session with us: "I was so excited after meeting Sarah at her senior consultation. She is full of life, has off the chain style, and is just drop dead gorgeous! We traveled about 45 minutes away from her hometown of Falmouth, KY to Augusta, KY, which is on the Ohio River and is also where George Clooney and Miss America 2000, Heather French Henry are from! Most of the session took place in Augusta but we then went another 45 minutes away (to my hometown) to a junk yard and used the awesome rusty old wrecker, which yielded my most favorite images from the day! Sarah's sense of style is so unique and so "trendy" that I learned that she is bullied at school by others because of this amazing gift she has! When I blog this session on my own website, I will be addressing this issue for the fight against bullying!"
Gear: "I shoot with a Canon 7d. My go to lens is my 85mm 1.8 and for my wide angle shots, I pull out my 28mm. I used my OCF on every shot for fill light and to also produce the dramatic look in some. I shoot in manual as well as utilize Kelvin for my white balance. Every single one of my shots are straight out of the camera with only bumping up the contrast a bit and adjusting the exposure on some. I edit with Lightroom 5 and use Pretty Presets for Lightroom Beauty Brushes to smooth the skin and sharpen the eyes. But in this session, I BARELY smoothed her skin! Her skin is seriously that flawless! I loved this session from beginning to end, without a doubt!!!!"
Inspiration: "I believe Sarah's awesome sense of style was the inspiration to this session. As well as her love for dance. She has been dancing since she was 4 years old! Her favorite style of dance though is modern."
Hair & Makeup: "Sarah did her own hair and makeup. Being a pageant girl, she has this art perfected!"
There is so much variety to this session, I love it! She did great on her hair and makeup. You killed that laying down pose, GREAT shot! Thanks so much for sharing this session with us!
Jessy shared a little about herself: "My name is Jessy and I have been a photographer "professionally" for about 3 years now. I have always been the girl with the camera, and finally one day, I decided to take the plunge and go pro. Although I do still have a day job as an accountant, photography is my creative outlet and also gives me an extra income to help this single mama :)"
