A Florida Senior Session

"Living in Florida, we get plenty of sunshine year round, yet in the three years I've been in business, I have never, not once, been able to shoot at sunset in an open field. This is a travesty for any natural light photographer! It's hard to find open fields in my area that aren't fenced in for the cows or just private property. So when my mom told me about this fabulous location out in the *country* (i.e., Alva, Florida), I was super excited to get out there and shoot. Lucky for me, my (not so little anymore) sister agreed to be my model for the afternoon. My fabulous friend Janea Soliven of j&a {makeup artistry} is the artist responsible for making her blue eyes really pop. (She really makes my job so much easier with her flawless makeup application!) My sister absolutely nailed this session and helped me take advantage of the most beautiful golden light. And in return, she is starting to realize that she really is a beautiful girl."
