A California Senior Session

Today's featured senior session comes to you from Wurzbach Fisher Photography located in Fairfield, CA!

"This senior session centered around friendship. We asked Kinzie (our senior rep) to gather 5 friends that were fun, energetic, kind and light hearted. She couldn't have picked a better group of young women. The girls each brought a suitcase full of clothes to Kinzie's house and it was a free for all dress up session. What a blast! Our photo stylist had the final say on outfits, all of which reflected fun, friendship and an Americana vibe."

Gear: "We shot on our Canon Mark II bodies, primarily with our 50mm, 1.2 lens. Some shots were also shot on the 70-200, 2.8. We used all natural light and a reflector for some shots."

Inspiration: "Celebrating friendship was the inspiration for this session. We wanted to select students who were already close friends so their comfortably with each other would shine through. We believe their friendship with each other shows through these images. We also brought in Noonday jewelry. This line of products is bright and bold. More importantly, each piece tells a story. The artisans of these pieces are women around the world who now have opportunity to support their families because of a job through Noonday. We believe in empowering women around the world and helping provide opportunity. Partnering with Noonday was the perfect fit for this session. We loved being able to share the artisans' stories with our the students as we accessorized with such beautiful accents pieces."

Hair & MUA: "Carrie Aldous, MUAH, (http://www.carriealdous.com) was our artist for this session. Carrie understood our vision and gave the girls a very natural and free look. Make up was light, accentuating the warm and natural beauty of each of the girls. Hair was styled in a way that reflected the free spirit that these girls posses. Carrie is one of the Napa Valley's most sought after makeup and hair artists. We were very thankful for her partnership for this session."
