Featured Session | Susan Grace Photography
Today we are featuring a senior session by Susan Grace Photography, located in New Jersey. Here is what Susan had to say about her session.
Please describe this session: “Gabriella is a talented dancer who I have followed for a while on social media and I was so excited when she asked me to photograph her senior portrait session. I met with Gabbie and her mom to customize her senior session and immediately knew that she did not want a generic portrait session. She is unique and wanted her senior session to reflect her personality. If I were to describe Gabby I would say she is a hard worker that also LOVES to play. And play we did.”
Tell us about the gear used:

What inspired this session? “The jersey shore is made up of many barrier islands each with their own personality and vibe. We decided to hold her session in Wildwood NJ, which is a quirky retro beach town. According to Wiki, the term "doo-wop" was coined by in the early 1990s to describe the unique, space-age architectural style of this town.
We started her session in an adorable ice cream shop called Cool Scoops. I can't thank them enough for letting us borrow their pallor for an hour. Cool Scoops is decorated head to toe in rock-n-roll memorabilia from this century. Seriously it's a photographers's playground.
We then walked our way (and created photographs along the way, we even found a pirate ship with fake pirates for her to dance with) to the boardwalk where we created a slew of amazing dance images. We ended the session in an arcade to round out the fun factor.”
